When both conditions hold at the same dealer, the gap between advertised price and achievable price is unusually wide for this class. The exact figure varies by trim, dealer, and week, which is why it is not something anyone should quote as a rule.

The 2026 EV9 sits in the same narrow category as the IONIQ 9: a genuine three-row electric SUV with adult-usable third-row seating and manufacturer backing across lease, finance, and cash. What separates it right now is the layering. Manufacturer programs and dealer-level discounting are both active at once, which is not the normal condition for this segment.

The EV9 also benefits from a conventional interpretation of the segment. Boxy proportions, flat floor, upright glass, and a third row that adults can actually occupy. Buyers cross-shopping the IONIQ 9 should drive both. The packaging philosophies differ more than the spec sheets suggest.
